This is the tenth year in which CEC and SMART Learning Systems have collaborated to offer the Illinois SMART School Academy.  The purpose of the Academy is to train district teams in the application of the SMART School Improvement Process.

Training dates and location:

September 11 and 12, 2019

October 29 and 30

December 3 and 4

April 7 and 8, 2020

All of the training events will be held at National Louis University – 850 Warrenville Road in Lisle, IL 60532.

Coaching:

Participating teams are coached by a certified SMART Master Coach between the training sessions and following the final training session in April, 2020.

Benefits:

Each Academy participant receives 2 books, PowerPoints, instructor guides, participant manual, coaching style inventory, access to an online collaborative space and continuing membership in the growing SMART Network.

Cost:

The cost of the year-long Academy is $3200 per participant. The Academy is limited in size to accommodate a deep, personalized learning experience that builds internal district capacity. As a result, your Academy team must include 2 or more representatives.
